Fiji

Orange City has visited Fiji three times to date with the players from around the Under 15 age. With enough siblings, we include a netball team as well.

The aim of our biannual Fiji tour is to provide a cultural experience where we visit villages and schools, play a number of rugby union and netball games, and also provide a relaxing holiday for our families.

Indigenous Round

Orange City acknowledges the Wiradjuri people who are the Traditional Custodians of the Land that we play on and recognise their continuing connection to land, waters and culture.

We pay our respects to their Elders past, present, and emerging.

The club participates in the yearly Indigenous Round as a commitment to reconciliation in Australia, and using our great global game to promote Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture, which is the oldest continuous living culture in the world.

Mental Health Round

Mental Health is something that sits close to the heart of every family member of Orange City.

Raising awareness, and reducing the stigma around asking for help, is a driving force behind our club hosting a mental health round.

Community Blood Challenge

Orange City also participate in a local blood donation challenge with our cross town rivals.

This not only help save lives, but raises awareness of the importance of blood donation to the community.
